Our capability
Our company provides lighting and grip solutions to the industry for feature films, TV commercials, reality TV, TV series/dramas and still's photo shoots.
Established in 2005 - initially to provide lighting services - we saw the opportunity to integrate a grip solution to enable us to provide a single point supply for all professional lighting/grip production requirements. This we have achieved by our continuous investment in a broad range of new equipment to maxmise capability and efficiency.
Our products
Film Lighting NZ Ltd are New Zealand agents for The Rag Place fabrics, FILMGEAR lights, Sunbounce light enhancers, SocanLand LEDs, and Honda generators.
For our technical fabrics, we carry a large range of stock in a variety of sizes for the local market to ensure that we can meet the needs of our customers. We provide flexibility by offering most fabrics for either purchase or hire. A selection of the most popular products are available by the metre or roll.
Power options
We are New Zealand's largest supplier of film-sileneced generators ranging from small, portable 1 kVA up to our truck-mounted 200 kVA. There is a generator to suit all unit and filming requirements.
Our intention is to ensure our generators are ultra quiet. We can cover all requirements for generators including compact options for tight locations as well as 4-wheel drives for difficult terrain. Our size range can cover all applications from unit bases, set locations, to studios.
